Prize-winning in Paris

The 23rd annual Festival Automobile International took place last night in Paris. A dozen prizes are awarded by a jury made up of eminient representatives from the sports car industry, architecture, fashion, design, art and the press, all of them having in common a passion for cars. This is chaired by Alain Prost and includes wellknown racing figures such as Philippe Gurdjian and Francois Chatriot. This year's winners included David Richards, who won the award for Supercar of the Year for the Aston Martin DBS, while BMW won the automotive-related architectural prize for its new BMW Welt facility in Munich and our own Paul-Henri Cahier won the prize for the most stunning photo of the year, for a shot he took in the rain-sodden Japanese GP at Mount Fuji.
