Force India F1 plans ahead

Things have been moving on at Force India F1 in recent weeks and the team is about to announce its plans for testing in the run up to Christmas. The team has yet to confirm any driver but is believed to have an option to keep Adrian Sutil if it chooses to do so. Beyond that the game is on to see who will emerge as the drivers. The team has been tipped to be testing a number of different names but at the moment team boss Vijay Mallya has yet to name names. We believe that the test in Barcelona will see Sutil being joined by Sakon Yamamoto, Holland's Giedo van der Garde, Austrian Christian Klien and Italian Tonio Liuzzi.

The Spanish press has been getting very excited about Roldan Rodriguez who is said to have $10m to spend. That is fine, but the team is not going to make much progress with pay-drivers and Vijay Mallya seems to be willing to come up the cash to do the job properly.
