Hamilton cleared
Lewis Hamilton has been cleared in the investigation by the FIA into the accident which resulted in the retirements of second and third placed drivers Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel at the Japanese Grand Prix while the field was running behind the Safety Car.
Vettel's 10-place grid penalty in the Chinese Grand Prix has also been cancelled.
The decision does Formula 1 a power of good after a period in which decisions and comments from the FIA have led to much criticism of the way the sport is being run.
