So what?

Ralf Schumacher has announced that he will not be at Toyota next year. It was not rocket science to work that one out and one can only say that it was nice of the Japanese car company to give Ralf the opportunity to announce the news first, allowing the deeply ill-informed to write that Ralf had quit the team rather than being dumped, which is closer to the reality. Although Ralf and his people continue to suggest that he has a career somewhere in the sport, there are no signs that anyone in F1 is going to part with any cash to get Ralf into one of their cars and thus we will soon have a strange situation indeed, racing without a single Schumacher in the field.
