Dennis talks about the espionage scandal
McLaren boss Ron Dennis has been talking about the espionage allegations involving Ferrari and McLaren.
"Personal integrity is important to me," he said, "and my company's integrity is more important. This matter does not involve our company. I am absolutely confident with the passing of time that you will see how McLaren's position is one that is reflective of our statements. The team has never to my knowledge used other people's intellectual property . That is the key message. we are cooperating with the FIA and with Ferrari and I have complete confidence in the outcome."
Stepney has now returned to Italy and is due to meet with his lawyers and investigators tomorrow.
We understand the the Italian police has visited his apartment for a second time, looking for more evidence, presumably relating to the McLaren individual.
