Heidfeld to miss French GP?

Nick Heidfeld is in real trouble with back problems and it looks like he may miss the French Grand Prix. A decision must be made this evening so that Sebastian Vettel can take over tomorrow if it is necessary.

Heidfeld left the Magny-Cours circuit at 4.30pm to go the local Centre Hopitalier Pierre Beregovoy in Nevers, where he will undergo a scan to establish the details of the problem.

Vettel attended the F1 drivers' briefing on Saturday afternoon, suggesting that he will be seen in the car tomorrow.
