Pizzonia drops out of GP2

Former F1 driver Antonio Pizzonia has hoped to use GP2 to revive his career this year but in the races so far the FMS driver has scored only one point in five races. Pizzonia will be replaced by Adam Carroll, a winner of several GP2 races in 2005, who dropped into the DTM series this year in an Audi run by Colin Kolles's team. The team hopes that the switch will put FMS back in the winner's circle. The team won three races last year with Giorgio Pantano driving.
