Williams gets another CEO

Williams F1 has announced a new chief executive officer to replace Chris Chapple. The new man is Adam Parr, a executive who was previously an executive with the Rio Tinto Minerals company. A lawyer, he joined Barclays Investment Bank from Cambridge University and then moved to Rio Tinto in 1990. He then worked in a series of different roles for the mining company, which is listed in London and Australia. During that period he has been based in Africa, Europe, Japan and Australia. He became managing director of Dampier Salt in Perth in 2000 and remained there until last year when he moved back to London to be the President and Chief Commercial Officer of Rio Tinto Minerals, a newly formed company.
