Wilson hopes to race in Mexico

Justin Wilson will be heading for Mexico for the Champ Car finale on November 12 hoping to be able to race decide a broken scaphoid bone in his right wrist after a crash in Australia a fortnight ago. This will be just a month after the crash and a scaphoid usually takes between six to eight weeks to heal. This can differ from person to person depending on where the fracture occurs in relation to the supply of blood, which speeds up or slows down the healing process.

The danger of this is that he will aggravate the injury and disrupt his 2007 season as well.

If Wilson feels unable to drive it looks like his seat will go to Adam Carroll.
