Lonely hearts in Melbourne
The Australian Grand Prix is looking hard at ways to sell more tickets as the ldevel of interest in F1 has flagged in recent seasons - although it may be due to the date-switching and clashing events. This year there is a new idea with the Grand Prix having been given a special dispensation to sell discounted tickets for women for a special enclosure where singles could meet and mingle. The idea was introduced this year but obviously there were not enough girls to go round.
The Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal has granted the race an exemption to section 83 of Victoria's Equal Opportunity Act in order for the tickets to go on sale.
