The joys of Brazil
Formula 1 goes to Interlagos each year because it needs a venue in South America, even though everyone knows that the facilities at the Sao Paulo track are way below the standards demanded elsewhere in the world. It is also a dangerous place as four members of the Toyota team found last night when the car in which they were travelling was targeted by gun-toting car-jackers. The attackers tried to kick in a window and then fired shots. The Toyota folk stayed calm and drove away from the attacker without anyone hurt.
