Albers re-signs with Spyker MF1
There is no big surprise in the announcement that Christijan Albers has re-signed for the Spyker MF1 team for next year. This is in part because his fiance Liselore is the daughter of one of the members of the consortium that recently bought the team and in part thanks to his good performances this year.
"Originally we thought we would just keep his fiancee Liselore and ask Christian to go to the other end of the paddock," said team boss Colin Kolles. "but then he started going quicker than we thought the car was capable of and he gained the upper hand in negotiations."
