GM and Renault talks to go ahead
General Motors, Renault and Nissan have confirmed that the two companies are moving foward after their exploratory talks about creating a three-way alliance. The companies are now moving on to conduct a confidential review of the potential benefits of such an alliance to each company and the feasibility of achieving them. The review is expected to take about three months. Once that is completed the companies will decided whether to get serious with the plans.
