Loeb finishes second at Le Mans

World Rally champion Sebastien Loeb has shown that he is no slouch on the race tracks with second place in the Le Mans 24 Hours with a Pescarolo-Judd he was sharing with Franck Montagny and Eric Helary. The Pescarolo finished four laps behind the winning Audi. The Pescarolos are powered by five-litre versions of the Judd V10, which began life in F1 racing. The team was only two laps down on the leading Audi until 01.30 Sunday morning when Montagny went off into a gravel trap and was stuck there until marshals pulled the car free. After the team fitted some new bodywork and new tyres the car was quickly up to speed again.
