Conway to the fore

Although Bruno Senna started the season looking good with Raikkonen Robertson Racing, it is Mike Conway, his English team mate, who has now moved to the top of the points standings in British Formula 3 with two maximum points scores in Pau, although Conway was beaten on the road by Signature Plus drivers Romain Grosjean and Guillaume Moreau, who were competing in the invitational class of the race. The team has now scored six "wins" in the six British F3 races to date, and looks set to continue its domination. Senna had a less impressive weekend in France with only a handful of points with seventh and eighth places. This means that he is now in the sights of Oliver Jarvis and Maro Engel, the Carlin Motorsport drivers who share second third place in the championship.

Conway has been called in by DPR Direxiv to replace Olivier Pla in GP2 this weekend after Pla injured his wrist at Monaco.
