Cosworth men at the forefront

Former Cosworth executives Brendan Connor and Graham Shemeld have been appointed to leading roles in Cenex, an industry-led public-private partnership which is the UK's first Centre of Excellence for low carbon and fuel cell technologies. Cenex is an initiative funded by UK Department of Trade and Industry and led by a core group of member organisations, representing a cross-section of UK companies that are investing in low carbon and fuel cell technologies. Cenex hopes that by encouraging the early market adoption of low carbon and fuel cell technologies in automotive applications, UK industry to develop a supply chain capable of competing in global markets.

Brendan Connor, a former managing director of Cosworth is chairman of Cenex and Graham Shemeld, a former F1 programme manager at Cosworth is the project manager.
