F1, watch out!

The Formula One group has launched a new range of official watches, as part of a global license agreement with the Swiss watch manufacturer, Jacques Lemans. The watch is part of the first official range of Formula One clothing and accessories - which will be launched on June 6, 2006.

"Jacques Lemans is a very competent watch manufacturer and this initial collection looks super," said Bernie Ecclestone. "I hope this is the start of a successful collaboration."

Ecclestone was joined at the launch by Alfred Riedl of Jacques Lemans and ex-Formula 1 team owner Walter Wolf, who helped broker the deal.
