Williams announces Wright replacement

WilliamsF1 has signed Scott Garrett as its new Head of Marketing, to replace Jim Wright who left over the weekend of the Australian Grand Prix to "pursue other interests". Wright is believed to have had policy disagreements with new company boss Chris Chappell.

Garrett most recently worked as Vice President of Brands for HJ Heinz, and formerly held senior marketing roles with Publicis Group, J Walter Thompson, Nike and Saatchi & Saatchi.

"We are very much looking forward to harnessing Scott's considerable experience and expertise in our continuing efforts to better support our existing commercial partners, as well as helping us to attract new sponsors," Sir Frank Williams said.
