The MF1 Racing team has lost its Sporting Director Adrian Burgess with immediate effect. Burgess has been increasingly disenchanted with the team in recent months and has now decided to depart. The team says that the change is due to planned internal restructuring of race and test team operations.

The change means that Burgess's job will be split between team manager Andy Stevenson and chief race and test engineer Dominic Harlow.
