Formula 1 Sponsorship Forum to return

The Formula 1 Sponsorship Forum is to return in 2006 with the event in Monaco being moved to December 6-7 to coincide with the FIA World Motor Sport Council meetings and the FIA Prizegiving gala. Following this year's inaugural event the organisers asked for feedback from the people involved and received a huge response highlighting that the event had been a big success for those who took part, providing an arena for debate and discussion on a wide range of topics that affect the F1 business and motorsports in general.

"The Forum provided an interesting platform to exchange ideas within the Formula 1 industry," said Michael Payne of Formula One Management. "An impressive first event."

The majority of those involved rated the event and content as having been good but wanted more time to network between sessions. Nearly three-quarters of the delegates said they would return in 2006.

The organisers intend to use the feedback to improve the event with more team involvement, more time for questions, a bigger exhibition area, presentations from other sports and no sales pitches from speakers.
