EU begins CVC-Formula One investigation

The European Union has begun its investigation into whether or not CVC Capital Partners should be allowed to buy control of the Formula One group. An application for clearance has now been made and questionnaires have been sent out to interested parties to make commentrs on the deal so that the EU Competition Directorate can decide whether the deal is acceptable under European competition law.
