MF1 Racing names more drivers
The MF1 Racing team has announced plans for more young drivers to be involved in its projects. The team has already named Nicky Pastorelli and Markus Winkelhock as test drivers (although it seems that the former may have dropped out of the picture) and has now said that 25-year-old Swiss driver Giorgio Mondini will do the Friday driving in at least nine events this year. Mondini has yet to do anything to show exceptional talent in the junior formulae but presumably has sufficient money to make him interesting to the Silverstone-based team which is being largely funded this year by sponsors asscoiated with its drivers.
The team has also announced that 22-year-old German Adrian Sutil will be the team's official Junior Driver for 2006. Sutil will take part in "some" of the Friday sessions at Grands Prix. Sutil finished runner-up to his team mate Lewis Hamilton in the Formula 3 Euroseries.
