Rosberg tops the list in Jerez

The Formula 1 testing continued in Spain this week with McLaren, Williams, Toyota and Honda in action over a four day period at Jerez. BMW Sauber was by itself at Valencia following the launch of its new car.

The Jerez test ended with Nico Rosberg setting the fastest time in his Williams-Cosworth interim car with a lap of 1m18.309s, two-tenths faster than Jenson Button in his Honda interim car who set a best of 1m18.542s. This was a tenth faster than team mate Rubens Barrichello who set a time of 1m18.633s. Jarno Trulli was next in his Toyota at 1m18.659s with Anthony Davidson right with him in his Honda at 1m18.675s. Alex Wurz was next in his Williams with a time of 1m18.831s. The test was completed by the McLarens of Pedro de la Rosa (1m18.853s) and Gary Paffett (1m19.135s) and Ralf Schumacher lagging behind in his Toyota with a best of 1m19.373s.
