Ferrari, the styling firm Pininfarina and Alcoa, the aluminium company which produces frames for Ferrari have been sponsoring a contest this year at design schools around the world - hoping to find the Ferrari of the future. Twenty finalists have now been chosen from automotive design schools in Detroit, Coventry, Turin and Tokyo and their quarter-scale models will be judged on November 18 by a committee which includes Luca di Montezemolo, Piero Ferrari, Jean Todt, Amedeo Felisa and Massimo Fumarola from Ferrari plus Sergio Pininfarina, Andrea Pininfarina and Ken Okuyama. Four winners will be given work experience at Ferrari or Pininfarina.
