A useful idea for F1
The commercial methods used in Formula 1 could change dramatically in the years ahead with the announcement by Siemens of an impressive new technology which would create cheap, paper-thin TV screens. The new technology was announced at the Plastics Electronics trade fair in Frankfurt. The technology makes it possible to put moving images directly on to paper and could be used for magazines and indeed as packaging. The idea could also be applied to the sides of cars and to advertising hoardings.
