Walkinshaw nets Bathurst victory
Former F1 team owner Tom Walkinshaw took control of the Holden Racing Team earlier this year, without much ceremony but on Sunday the team won Australia's biggest touring car race with Mark Skaife and Todd Kelly winning the Bathurst 1000 in their Holden Commodore. It was Holden's seventh consecutive victory in the event.
It was Skaife's fifth win at Bathurst, but he still has a long way to go to beat the nine wins of Peter Brock.
