Michael sticks it in the wall

Michael Schumacher went out in the wet on Saturday morning at Suzuka and while everyone else stayed in the pits and out of trouble, the Ferrari star decided to push a little and duly crashed, fairly heavily in the first part of the Esses, proving that one can win seven World Championships and still do things which are not really very smart. While the car can be repaired the Ferrari team will be hoping that the impact did not do any damage to the engine. The session kept going but the Suzuka fans were treated to a large amount of empty track. Proof positive that the current system of engine-lifing is not a good idea for the paying spectators.
