Greeks confirm F1 interest
As exclusively reported by grandprix.com in recent months, Greece is considering a Formula 1 project. The news has been confirmed by the country's Tourism Minister Dimitris Avramopoulos.
"The ministry is in the process of drawing up a draft law that lays out the legal and institutional conditions to advance in the coming months," Avramopoulos told reporters after a meeting with Prime Minister Costas Caramanlis.
Aramopoulos confirmed that talks were going on with the Formula One group.
