Hilton looks at F1
There are rumours that Hilton Hotels may be on the verge of becoming a Formula 1 sponsor. Rumours we have heard have linked the hotel firm with McLaren.
The Hilton company is a wellknown global brand and has been in operation since 1919 when Conrad Hilton opened their first hotel in Cisco, Texas. There are now 500 Hilton Hotels around the world with 147,600 rooms belonging to the group, including the Conrad, Doubletree, Embassy Suites, Hampton Inns and Hilton brands. It is believed that the company is aiming to expand its various franchises and is believed to want to use F1 not just as a brand-building exercise but also for its VIP hospitality services.
