Davidson hopes for a Jordan

Anthony Davidson has learned the hard way that being a Formula 1 test driver is not enough to get a full-time drive in the sport and so it looks like he is going to follow the route of racing for a smaller team and hoping that the bigger teams pick him up because of his racing experience.

The talk at the moment is that Davidson could end up with a drive with the Midland F1 team next season although there are yet to be any really convincing signs that the team is serious about being in F1.

A good sign would be for the team to pay off all of its debts and get on with investing for the future. Until that happens there are bound to be rumours that the team is up for sale, particularly as several sources indicate that this is the case.
