Max Mosley switched the meeting planned for today from Cannes to Nice to make it easier for the F1 drivers to get there and it seems that things went well with 12 drivers in attendance, including Grand Prix Drivers Association leading lights David Coulthard, Michael Schumacher, Mark Webber and Jarno Trulli. There were discussions about a number of different issues, notably safety in testing but also qualifying formats, the rules being proposed for 2008 and the way in which superlicences are granted.

The meeting is the latest in a series of get-togethers which have smoothed over the political upheavals in recent months.
