Practice 3, 4 Report - Alonso on top, Kimi in trouble

Fernando Alonso set the fastest lap of the morning at Silverstone on Saturday, edging out McLaren's Juan Pablo Montoya but the big news of the morning was that Kimi Raikkonen had again run into trouble with another engine failure. This means that he will have to go back 10 places on the grid once again, as happened at Magny-Cours.

The morning session saw the two Toyotas again going well with Jarno Trulli and Ralf Schumacher third and fourth ahead of Jenson Button, Giancarlo Fisichella, Michael Schumacher, Mark Webber, Nick Heidfeld and Christian Klien.

Rubens Barrichello was 11th ahead of the two Saubers, with Jacques Villeneuve leading Felipe Massa on this occasion.
