FIA promises to react to public opinions
The FIA says it has received 90,000 completed Formula 1 surveys from fans in 180 countries and that it will announce the results of the survey in the run-up to the British Grand Prix.
"The answers which tens of thousands of fans have given may challenge the assumptions of many of the sports stakeholders," said FIA President Max Mosley, "but the FIA will take full account of the results when finalising the proposed regulations for the 2008 Formula 1 World Championship."
The survey has been carried out by TNS Sport, a division of the market research company TNS.
