Tracy wins Milwaukee

Paul Tracy won the Champ Car race at Milwaukee on Saturday ahead of AJ Allmendinger, Oriol Servia and Justin Wilson. Sebastien Bourdais regained the lead in the series with a sixth-placed finish. Tracy took the lead on lap 17 and dominated the event, despite the usual string of crashes on the short oval. There were so many incidents that the race was stopped at two hours.

It was an impressive result for Servia who was drafted in at the last minute to replace the injured Bruno Junqueira.

Bourdais had a less successful time, being penalised for speeding in the pitlane. He still leads the championship with 77 points to Wilson's 70 with Tracy on 69.
