Montoya penalised for accident
Juan Pablo Montoya will have to start at the back of the grid for the Monaco Grand Prix for having caused an avoidable accident in the morning session. Montoya had been on a fast lap when he came up behind David Coulthard and Ralf Schumacher, who had just emerged from the pits. Montoya's lap was thus disrupted and he slowed down dramatically. This resulted in a traffic jam and Jacques Villeneuve running into the back of Coulthard who was spun into Schumacher.
