A rush of blood to the head

The Monaco Grand Prix will see an impressive stunt at two fifteen on Saturday afternoon just after F1 qualifying when Pierre Rosso will attempt to set a new world record for bungee jumping when he launches himself out of a Heli Air Monaco helicopter and plunges 800m towards the Mediterranean. The 68-year-old grandfather, who was a stuntman in more than 200 films, is aiming to beat his own record, set in a jump back in 1994. Rosso will have to cope with two or three G when the 200m bungee reaches maximum extension and will then have to put up with another two or three rebounds before an inflatable boat comes to his rescue. Rosso has been doing such jumps since 1989.
