Who is where in the World Championship?

The excitements post-race at Imola have reconfigured the World Championship standings with Fernando Alonso still out and clear with 36 points. Toyota's Jarno Trulli is second with 20 points and Giancarlo Fisichella and Michael Schumacher are equal third with 10 points apiece. With Jenson Button and Takuma Sato excluded from the points, this means that Alexander Wurz can celebrate a podium that never was and Jacques Villeneuve can enjoy having five points in the bag. Williams gains considerably with Nick Heidfeld now sixth and Mark Webber seventh and Tonio Liuzzi ends up having scored a point on his Grand Prix debut for Red Bull Racing.

The Constructors' Championship sees Renault with 46 points, followed by Toyota with 29, McLaren with 25, Ferrari and BMW Williams with 18 and Red Bull Racing with 13. The only other team to have scored is Sauber with seven points.
