Briatore stays on for one more year

Renault has announced that Flavio Briatore will stay on with the F1 team for another one year. This is not altogether unexpected given that the French team does not want to disrupt what has become a successful team but at the same time the fact that the extension is for only one year is hardly a long-term commitment on either side.
