Marchy Lee to test Minardi

As exclusively predicted some weeks ago, Minardi is to test Chinese driver Marchy Lee Yin-Kin. The Formula BMW Asia Champion raced in France in 1998 and finished fourth in the Formula Campus series. He then tried French Formula 3 in 1999 and 2000 before returning to Asia racing Formula 3 in Asia and in Australia before deciding last year to consolidate and go back to Formula BMW in Asia, which he won in style with 12 victories in 14 races. The test will take place at Mugello and Lee hopes that it will help him to raise money to become a fulltime F1 test driver.
