Team bosses to meet again today
The Formula 1 team bosses met yesterday in Imola to discuss whether or not to change qualifying and decided that before making nay move they need to be sure that they are doing the right thing after a series of failed qualifying systems. The teams discussed various possibilities with F1 commercial boss Bernie Ecclestone and agreed to have the engineers look at the implications of the various choices overnight and will meet again this afternoon to decide what to do. The problem will be finding a solution that is acceptable to all concerned given that qualifying may become a political issue as the teams position themselves in the dispute over the rules for 2008.
