Bernie to offer teams new deal in Sepang

Bernie Ecclestone will be in Malaysia this weekend and we hear that he intends to offer the Formula 1 teams another deal to join his Concorde Agreement from 2008 onwards. The teams are reporting that they will listen to what he says and if sufficient compromises have been made may even consider joining Ferrari. However, no-one we have spoken to seems to be optimistic that the deal will be sufficiently interesting to agree terms with Ecclestone and the ongoing process of meetings to discuss the planned new championship continue at a pace.
