BAR runs Nelson Piquet Jr

Nelson Piquet Jr, the British Formula 3 Champion, is to test this week with the BAR-Honda team. The test has been planned for some time and was requested by British American Tobacco. The test will no doubt get a huge amount of publicity in South America, one of BAT's major targets with the F1 programme. Piquet will test a 2004 car at Jerez.

The 19-year-old son of triple World Champion Nelson Piquet will race this year in GP2 but has previously had an F1 test with the Williams team.
