Verstappen plans Champ car tests
Jos Verstappen wants to get back into racing and the Dutchman is expected to test for at least one Champ Car team in the weeks ahead. Verstappen is talking to the obvious teams in the series, notably Forsythe and Rocketsports. The 32-year-old has spent most of his career in F1 but has not raced since 2003 and wants to now resurrect his open-wheeler career in the United States.
Verstappen has always been a quick driver but was never in the right F1 team at the right time. His time at Benetton as team mate to Michael Schumacher came too early in his career, despite the fact that he still managed to score some good results.
