Meanwhile on the race tracks

The testing in Barcelona continued on Wednesday with Mark Webber leading the way ahead of Nick Heidfeld and Michael Schumacher. There was an appreciable gap back to Jarno Trulli's Toyota and another to the three Red Bull drivers. The big surprise was that the fastest of the three men was not David Coulthard but rather Tonio Liuzzi, who set a best of 1m18.035s, nearly two-tenths quicker than Coulthard. Christian Klien was a tenth slower than Coulthard. David had three spins in the course of the day.

Despite the fast times Williams suffered from suspension troubles while Ferrari was concentrating on doing long runs trying out tyres. The track is still very slippery and set-up work is very difficult.
