A shake-up at Ford

The Ford Motor Company is to have another major shake-up of its top management but it is not expected that the changes will have any effect on the company's attitudes towards Formula 1. The company's president Sir Nick Scheele and vice-chairman Allan Gilmour are both retiring. The 60-year-old Scheele will be replaced as president by 58-year-old Jim Padilla, who is currently the company's chief operating officer, while 70-year-old Gilmour will not be replaced by one executive, his various roles being divided up.
