Priaulx to drive a Williams F1 car
The European Touring Car Champion Andy Priaulx is to get a run with the BMW Williams F1 team. The news was announced at the weekend by BMW Motorsport Director Mario Theissen in the course of the BMW Motorsport Party, at Zell am See in Austria. The test is a reward for the 30-year-old Briton's achievements for BMW in the ETCC, at the wheel of a BMW Team Great Britain car. The date of the test has not been confirmed and it is unlikely to be for some time as the team is currently flat out working on developments for the 2005 car.
