BAR to test Carroll, Rossiter and Van der Merwe
The BAR-Honda team is to test Alan Van der Merwe, Adam Carroll and James Rossiter as part of its plans to develop a young driver program. The team currently employs four drivers: Jenson Button, Takuma Sato, Anthony Davidson and Enrique Bernoldi but may need some more help if Davidson gets a drive elsewhere.
The team had previously given nine drivers tests to see who would be best-suited to the job. The others who were not picked are: Nico Rosberg, Alexandre Premat, Nelson Piquet Jr, Heiki Kovalainen, Danilo Dirani and Jose-Maria Lopez.
The team says it is looking for youngsters to develop over the next two years.
