McLaren gets a coffee break
The West McLaren Mercedes F1 team has signed a deal with Nescafe Express, which will see the brand appearing on the helmets and drink bottles. While this is hardly a gripping result for the team it does link McLaren with Beverage Partners Worldwide, a joint-venture between Nestle and Coca-Cola which is designed to exploit the global market in ready-to-drink teas, coffees and herbal remedies. It remains to be seen whether this will lead to a bigger involvement for the company in F1 but it is a good step for McLaren which is busy looking for sponsorship in the world of post-tobacco F1.
