The Contract Recognition Board next week!
The Contract Recognition Board has changed the date of its planned hearing into Jenson Button's contractual status in 2005 and we hear that there will now be a hearing on Wednesday next week. This means that the legal teams or Williams and BAR will need to be ready to go into action in Geneva and we hear that the sudden change of date has led to complications as not all the legal representatives involved are free on the new date given.
While this may lead to a swift decision but it could also lead to problems as the loser in the case might decide to challenge the decision in the High Court in London, based on the argument that there was no time to make the necessary preparations. The CRB was originally scheduled to meet at the end of October.
