Tracy to stay in Champ Cars

Paul Tracy has been rumoured to be on his way to NASCAR in 2005 but the Champ Car title-holder of 2003 looks like he is going to stay where he is, despite an offer from Richard Childress Racing to switch to the NASCAR Nextel Cup if Robby Gordon decided to go ahead with his own team. Tracy's current employer Gerald Forsythe says he is close to doing a new deal with Tracy and the 35-year-old Canadian himself agrees with that assessment.
